Absence Note & Smoothies

Hi there! It's been a hectic few months away from the youtube and blogsphere. But I'm back for a couple hours before I head off on another summer adventure! Since I've been asked, I think many of my reader may like to know my latest and greatest. Well you're out of luck because I've been running low on food inspiration since busy few months running around. Fortunately, I do have a few recipes taped to my kitchen wall I always revisit...so what better way than to kick off summer with a nice berry smoothie?
Pineapple Smoothie
This delicious smoothie requires a knack of eyeballing or rather, hand-balling (the capability to measure through feeling.) So, I've made this recipe so many times, I think I've memorized it, but in reality I've lost the slip of paper, so each time I make it, something is a little different. But here is the recommended amount of the top of my head. 

Berry Smoothie

Place ingredients in blender in this order:
2-3 bananas
6-7 oz. frozen strawberries
5-6 oz. frozen berries (mix of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
4 oz. ice cubes
4 oz. non fat greek yogurt
1/4-1/2 cup milk
1-3 tsp. organic sugar

Blend at high speed to low, to high then back to low, making sure all the frozen bits are crushes and the smoothie is smooth. Enjoy and have a fabulous summer!
